Ripcord Rush is the first crash game from RealTime Gaming (RTG). The crash genre has become quite popular at online casinos in recent years. RTG is hoping to capitalize on this trend with Ripcord Rush, which follows a skydiver jumping out of an airplane. Gameplay
Each round begins with the skydiver standing at the edge of a flying plane. You'll see a large "Place Bet" button in the middle of the screen. You can adjust your wager size before selecting the Place Bet option. Assuming you don't make a wager in time, you'll need to wait until the next round to play. When you do bet, you'll have the option to "Cash Out" before the diver pulls his ripcord and ends the round. The goal is to cash out and win money before the cord gets pulled—otherwise you'll lose your bet.
Graphics & Atmosphere
Many crash games we've reviewed have rudimentary graphics, Ripcord Rush is more advanced because there are details in the airplane and skydiver. Once bets are closed, the diver will jump out of the plane and fall through the sky. You'll also get to see the diver pull their cord to end the game. This is more action than we're used to seeing with most crash games.
Win Potential
The Ripcord Rush max win is 5,000x your bet. Considering the max $250 wager, you could theoretically win as much as $1.25 million. The highest win we got while reviewing this game was 46x, which required a lot of nerve to avoid cashing out. That said, you must set out with the mindset of chasing higher payouts to get anywhere near 5,000x.
Betting Options & Features
The wagering range starts at $0.10 and goes up to $250. You can change your wager size with two arrows underneath the Place Bet button. Ripcord Rush also features four preset betting options that you can select to speed things up. An auto cashout button lets you set a predetermined amount for cashing out. We find this option helpful for going after a specific payout amount.
Ripcord Rush RTP
The Ripcord Rush RTP is 97%, which is higher than most online casino games. Of course, this is a variable payout percentage because your decisions on when to and not to cash out play a big role. No volatility rating is available, but you actually have the ability to control the volatility. You can either go for larger payouts or play it safe and collect winnings earlier in the skydive.

The crash gaming industry is fairly new compared to slots, table games, and live dealer games. That said, we're not used to seeing many crash games with substance regarding graphics and animations. Ripcord Rush goes further than most crash titles since it has a fleshed out skydiving theme. We like playing it, and the diver falling through the air added suspense to cashing out. We give this game a 9/10 rating and highly recommend it if you're interested in crash gaming.
